2012-13 Coyotes Prospects Report: 11/19/2012

AHL

November 16: Manchester 5, Portland 1

The Monarchs took a 2-0 advantage over the Pirates in the VIP Cup Series with a 5-1 win over the Pirates in Portland. Monarch Rookie Tyler Toffoli had a hat trick just halfway through the game, and Evan Brophey had the lone Pirates goal in the defeat.

November 23: Portland 6, Springfield 5 (OT)

After falling behind 4-1, the Pirates rallied with 4 straight power play goals to take a 5-4 advantage. After Springfield tied the game, Oliver Ekman-Larsson scored the game winner 19 seconds into overtime to give the Pirates the win. Alexandre Bolduc had 2 goals to give him 11 on the year to lead the team, and Andy Miele had 4 assists.

November 24: Worcester 5, Portland 1

In a very chippy contest that saw 15 fighting major penalties and 143 penalty minutes, the Worcester Sharks beat the Pirates 5-1 at the DCU Center. David Rundblad had the lone Pirates goal in the defeat.

November 25: Portland 3, Manchester 2 (OT)

The Pirates cut the deficit in the VIP Cup Series to 2-1 with a 3-2 overtime victory over the Manchester Monarchs. David Rundblad had his second goal in 2 games for the game winner in overtime. Chris Brown also chipped in a goal and Andy Miele contributed another assist.

Five prospects are playing for the Gwinnett Gladiators:

• Goalie Mike Lee is 9-3-1 with a 1.69 goals-against average and a .936 save percentage.

• Goalie Louis Domingue is 3-1-0 with a 2.76 goals-against average and a .889 save percentage.

• Forward Evan Bloodoff has six goals and five assists in 15 games.

• Defenseman Justin Weller has one goal in 14 games.

• Forward Maxime Villemaire has played six games and is minus-2.

• Forward Andrew Fritsch has 11 goals and 12 assists in 26 games for Sault Ste. Marie (OHL)

• Defenseman Jonas Ahnelov has one goal and two assists in 26 games for Modo (SWE)

• Forward Vladimir Ruzicka has three goals and 12 assists in 24 games for Slavia Praha (CZECH)

Finnish Leagues

• Forward Alexander Ruuttu has seven goals and 11 assists in 19 games for Kiekko-Vantaa (FIN D1) and has played four games for Jokerit (SM-liiga)
