GLENDALE -- Coyotes goalie Mike Smith debuted his newest mask on Saturday afternoon in the team's game vs. Edmonton.
The mask, Smith's third with the Coyotes designed by artist David Arrigo, features the familiar Wile E. Coyote theme but includes a personal touch.
On the sides of the mask are depictions of Smith’s two sons - Aksel and Ajax - wearing hockey gear.
Coyotes backup goalie Jason LaBarbera also has a new mask this season designed by Arrigo.
LaBarbera has traded in wrestling and Rock n’ Roll imagery this season for that of the Coyotes emblems and Navajo patterns.
The bold imagery is back-dropped by a desert scene and completed with a personal note of the two stars on either side of the chin. The stars are allusions to Jason’s two sons - Ryder and Easton.

Arrigo also has designed a new mask for Coyotes goaltending prospect Mark Visentin.
