Coyotes Assign Two Players to AHL

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have assigned two players to the Portland Pirates, the club's American Hockey League affiliate.

The players assigned to Portland are defensemen Mathieu Brodeur and James Melindy.

The Coyotes also announced that forward Guillaume Latendresse has been released from his NHL Tryout Agreement.

There are now 36 players remaining in the Coyotes veterans' training camp.
