Coyotes Beat Sharks in Preseason Finale

GLENDALE – Oliver Ekman-Larsson scored the game-winning goal on a power play with 2:28 left in the third period to lead the Coyotes to a 2-1 win over the San Jose Sharks on Friday night at Jobing.com Arena in Phoenix’s preseason finale.

The Coyotes finished the season with a 4-2-1 record.

Radim Vrbata also scored a goal and Thomas Greiss made 25 saves against his former team.

Defenseman David Rundblad chipped in two assists and finished the preseason with a team-high seven points.

The Coyotes begin the 2013-14 regular season on Thursday at home vs. the New York Rangers.
