SUITE FOOD TAKEN TO A NEW LEVEL

Fans watching a Coyotes game in a luxury suite inside Jobing.com Arena this season have good reason to arrive early.

Aramark Executive Chef Jason Choate has rebranded the suite level dining into the Grand Coyote Steakhouse, a restaurant that offers the best steaks available in Arizona.

“I have taken the suite level in a completely different direction than any sports team has done,” said Choate, who was the chef for the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks for three years. “We have really turned the suite level into a restaurant where food is prepared for the guests when they want it rather than having it prepared an hour before they arrive.”

The Grand Coyote Steakhouse will offer three different types of 100% Certified Angus Beef steaks, which are available to less than 1% of the restaurants in the nation. They are the beef tenderloin, new york strip, and bone-in rib-eye.

“I am lucky enough to have access to beef that almost no one has access to,” said Choate, who is a gold member of the Certified Angus Beef Board. “I want to provide the best dry-aged beef available to the people at Jobing.com Arena. When you come here, you are getting something special that you are not going to be able to go to Westgate or Scottsdale and receive.”

Fans can expect very unique tastes in the steaks offered by Choate.

“My style is very clean, simple food,” said Choate, who also cooked for the former Seattle SuperSonics of the NBA for two years. “I really look for the ingredients to speak for themselves. I don’t do a lot of heavy sauces or ornate garnishes.”

Choate came up with the idea for turning the suite level cuisine into a steakhouse after receiving feedback from fans last season and doing extensive research.

“When you think about where most people choose to go out with a celebration, they go to a steakhouse,” Choate said. “In order to give the fans a great experience, I thought a steakhouse was the best way to go.”

Fans who don’t prefer steakhouses need not worry. Choate also will offer fresh seafood imported from Hawaii including Pacific Salmon, Swordfish and Jumbo Gulf Prawns.
