As the Phoenix Coyotes prepare for the upcoming 2007 NHL Entry Draft, will begin daily ‘scouting reports,’ looking at a three potential draftees in a new feature titled: “Coyotes Draft Preview.”

In this installment of “Coyotes Draft Preview”, takes a closer look at the 13th, 14th & 15th ranked European Skater, as compiled by Central Scouting’s Final Rankings.

Ranked: 13th among European Skaters

Notes: Scored 28 points (14 goals, 14 assists) in 33 games last season...playmaking forward...sees the ice well and makes good decisions with the puck...has good passing ability and is good in the face-off hard every shift...needs to improve his overall skating...needs to increase his strength to be more effective along the boards.

Notes: In 42 games last season, recorded 37 points (16 goals, 21 assists) with TPS...a versatile forward with good skating ability...has good stickhandling skill and is effective in one-on-one situations...sees the ice very well and creates scoring chances for his hard and has good speed...needs to improve his shot...does not shy away from the physical play, but needs to add a physical presence to his game.

Notes: Last season, scored 58 points (24 goals, 34 assists) in 37 games with Slavia of the Czech Jr. league...a creative, skilled forward...has good hand-eye coordination and controls the puck well...has a hard shot and able to score many different ways...sees the ice well and effective on the power play...needs to increase his intensity...played for the Czech Republic at the 2007 Under-18 World Championship...his father was selected in the 1982 NHL Entry Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs and played four seasons in the NHL.
