As the Phoenix Coyotes prepare for the upcoming 2007 NHL Entry Draft, will begin daily ‘scouting reports,’ looking at a three potential draftees in a new feature titled: “Coyotes Draft Preview.”

In this installment of “Coyotes Draft Preview”, takes a closer look at the 16th, 17th & 18th ranked European Skater, as compiled by Central Scouting’s Final Rankings.

Ranked: 16th among European Skaters

Notes: A pysical, playmaking defenseman...has the ability to make the big hit and uses his size to his advantage...had good containment and an excellent reach...has good mobility and a solid shot from the point...needs to improve his backwards skating.

Notes: Scored 10 points (4 goals, 6 assists) in 40 games during the 2006-07 season...a smooth skating defenseman...plays with confidence and has improved his quickness...moves the puck well and has good hockey sense...effective on the power play and has a good work ethic...needs tto use his size to his advantage.

Notes: Registered 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) in 37 games last season...also scored 21 points (8 goals, 13 assists) in 25 games with Vsetin Jr...a playmaking defenseman...sees the ice well and can carry the puck out of danger...well positioned and effective on the power play...has good passing ability and a good, quick wrist shot...needs to improve his speed and sometimes is too offensive.
