Following a scoreless opening period, Team Canada came storming out of the gates in the second period, out-shooting Team Russia by a two-to-one margin and grabbing a 3-0 lead.  Karl Azner started the scoring at 3:43 of the period with a blast from the point that beat Russian netminder Sergei Bobrovsky for his first goal of the tournament.

At 11:13 of the second, with Canada working on a two-man advantage, Brandon Sutter was able to grab a loose puck in front of the net and lift it over Bobrovsky for the eventual game-winner.

Zachary Boychuk completed the second period scoring at 13:08 of the stanza when he snapped a shot from the slot, into the net for his fourth of the series.

Midway through the third period, Turris scored his first goal of the game on the power play with Boychuk and Zach Hamll registering assists.

Just under six minutes later, Turris capped off his evening with his seventh goal of the series, also on the man-advantage as Russia’s Igor Zubov had been called for hooking at 14:39 of the third.

Canada’s Clton Gilles and Russia’s Evgeni Dadonov finished off the scoring as Team Canada held on to win the Super Series with a record of 7-0-1.

Kyle Turris led all tournament scorers in goals with seven and power play goals (5) while finishing tied for third place in total points (8). is the official Web site of the Arizona Coyotes.
