The Coyotes Caravan continued on Tuesday, featuring a mix of business, education and patriotism.
Coyotes’ forwards Bill Thomas and Josh Gratton, along with Coyotes TV Play-by-Play Announcer Dave Strader and Color Analyst Darren Pang, went to work meeting with employees at SRP, Lovitt and Touche, Jobing.com and Qwest. It was anything but a normal day for these lucky fans, many of whom came to work dressed in their favorite Coyotes clothing and left with autographs, pictures and preseason tickets.
Meanwhile, Coyotes’ forward Stephen Reinprecht, alongside Coyotes Radio Play-by-Play Announcer Bob Heethius, Radio Color Analyst Louie DeBrusk and Howler, met with a group of future workers at Paradise Education Elementary School in Surprise. These young fans were treated to lessons in nutrition, safety and what hockey players wear to protect themselves from 100 mile-per-hour slapshots.
The highlight of the day came as Coyotes President and COO Doug Moss joined Reinprecht, Heethius, DeBrusk and Howler at the Glendale Fire Department as the Coyotes took time on 9/11 to honor those who put their lives on the line to protect the public.
The day wrapped up with Reinprecht meeting fans at Wal-Mart at Camelback Road and 95th Avenue in Phoenix.
Come join the Caravan on Wednesday as defenseman Nick Boynton and forward Mike Zigomanis will be at the Wal-Mart store at Bell Road and Grand Avenue in Surprise from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
