Players in S.W.A.T. Classroom

The Phoenix Coyotes are in the middle of a hard fought battle on the ice for a playoff spot as they try to climb into the top eight in the Western Conference. During a recent day off, seven members of the team engaged in a whole different kind of battle as they experienced what a day in the life of a S.W.A.T officer entails.

As part of Coyotes Causes “Honoring our Heroes” presented by The CORE Institute – a month-long salute to the men and women of local military, fire and police – the joint venture allowed the Coyotes to give back to some of our community’s true heroes while gaining a greater appreciation for those sworn to protect and serve.

As always, PhoenixCoyotes.com was there with full “target to target” coverage as the players traded in their jerseys for an unfamiliar uniform.
