The Coyotes took the ice Tuesday morning at the Alltel Ice Den in Scottsdale just hours before the trade deadline as they prepared for a two game road trip to Chicago and St. Louis.

After practice ended, all eyes in the locker room turned to the television for TSN’s deadline day coverage. This is a day where players have to wonder who is going and who is staying, so it has to be a bit of an uneasy feeling until the deadline passes. Watching the teams you are chasing in your conference make impact moves is something that all the players and coaches are closely monitoring.
