With seven picks in the first three rounds of the 2008 Draft, the Phoenix Coyotes figure to be one of the most active teams in the NHL. Having the 8th overall pick followed by four second round choices gives General Manager Don Maloney and his staff a lot of assets to play with.

Draft assets give the Phoenix Coyotes hockey operations team the kind of flexibility an organization dreams of having.

What will the Coyotes do with all these picks? The opportunity may be there to move up, or include picks as part of a trade package. One thing we know for sure is that Don Maloney will need to have his cell phone charged at all times because his phone will be ringing off the hook.

As we countdown to the start of the draft on June 20th in Ottawa, Host Matt Rosen caught up with Assistant General Manager Brad Treliving to get his thoughts on the draft combine and much more.

Get the inside scoop on the team's draft preparations in this exclusive one-on-one interview.
