Prior to playing professionally, Lundmark posted 96-120-216 in 159 games over three seasons in the Western Hockey League (WHL).  He was named to the WHL West First All-Star Team following his 2000-01 season with Seattle.  Lundmark was named to the WHL East Second All-Star Team and the WHL All-Rookie Team after recording 40-51-91 and 121 PIM in 1998-99 with Moose Jaw.

Taffe, 24, collected 11-11-22 and 24 PIM in 81 games over parts of three seasons with the Coyotes.  He was scoreless in two games with the club this season.  Taffe led Coyotes' rookies in scoring with 8-10-18 and finished tied for sixth among all NHL rookies in power-play goals (5) in 2003-04.  The Coyotes acquired Taffe from St. Louis along with Ladislav Nagy, Michal Handzus and a first round choice in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft in exchange for Keith Tkachuk on Mar. 13, 2001.
