Team Will Also Host an Open House at Arena on Saturday, July 11

GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes will hold a Prospect Development Camp July 8-11 at Desert Schools Coyotes Center in Peoria. All sessions will be free and open to the public. In addition, the Coyotes will host a free Open House at Arena on Saturday, July 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

A full schedule of on-ice practice times for the development camp is listed below:

Wednesday, July 8
9:15 a.m. - 11 a.m. at DSCC Peoria

Thursday, July 9
9:15 a.m. - 11 a.m. at DSCC Peoria

Saturday, July 11
9:15 a.m. - 11 a.m. at DSCC Peoria

Desert Schools Coyotes Center is located at 15829 North 83rd Avenue in Peoria.

Twenty (20) of the Coyotes’ top prospects are expected to attend the camp including defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson, the Coyotes’ top draft choice (6th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Each of Phoenix’s six picks from the 2009 Entry Draft will be in attendance. In addition, former draft selections such as Brett MacLean, Chris Summers and Nick Ross will also attend. The camp will provide players with NHL coaching and instruction in both on- and off-ice workout sessions.

Each of the 20 players in attendance will be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs during the Open House from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 11. The event will also include games for kids on the Arena floor, Coyotes merchandise sales and a complimentary hot dog and soda for all guests while Howler, the Coyotes’ mascot, will also be on hand. Eleven-Game “Pick ‘em” plans, which feature Opening Night plus 10 games of your choice, will be available for the first time. Any fans interested in purchasing season tickets, 20-Game plans or 11-Game plans will be able to meet with Coyotes sales representatives to tour seat locations and collect ticket information. Season tickets start at just $9 per game. Arena is located at 9400 W. Maryland Ave. in Glendale. Fans attending the event can park in Lot G and should enter at Gate 6 on the east side of the arena.
