GLENDALE, Ariz.--- The city of Glendale has received two Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) to purchase the National Hockey League’s (NHL) Coyotes team and to keep the team playing in the Glendale-owned Arena, the team’s home since 2003.

The MOUs are available for the public to view at In addition, a public meeting will be held Tuesday, April 13, at 7 p.m. in the Glendale Council Chambers at 5850 W. Glendale Ave. During the meeting, the proposed agreements will be voted upon by the Glendale City Council. These MOUs will allow the groups to continue discussions with the NHL regarding the purchase of the team.

The two potential owners are:
Glendale Hockey, a group led by Jerry Reinsdorf, owner of the MLB Chicago White Sox and NBA Chicago Bulls
