COYOTES BUYOUT NOKELAINEN’S CONTRACT

GLENDALE, ARIZONA -- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes exercised their right to buyout the contract of center Petteri Nokelainen.

Nokelainen was acquired by the Coyotes from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for a sixth round draft choice in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. Nokelainen recorded 1-1-2 and six penalty minutes (PIM) in 17 games with the Coyotes last season.
