GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Phoenix Coyotes Assistant General Manager Brad Treliving announced today that the Coyotes have extended their affiliation agreement with the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL.

“We are pleased to have extended our affiliation agreement with the Las Vegas Wranglers,” said Treliving. “We are looking forward to seeing young Coyotes prospects playing for the Wranglers this season.”

The Wranglers, who play their home games at the Orleans Arena, are one of 19 teams in the ECHL, competing in the Pacific Division along with Bakersfield Condors, Ontario Reign and Stockton Thunder. The Wranglers hold the record for the highest winning percentage in ECHL history and are coached and managed by Ryan Mougenel with former NHL forward Keith Primeau serving as the Director of Player Development.

"We are very excited once again to be part of the Phoenix Coyotes organization,” said Moungenel. “We look forward to the Coyotes continued success during the 2010-11 season.”

The Wranglers will open their 2010-11 campaign on Oct. 16 against the Bakersfield Condors.
