Hanzal Out 1-2 Weeks with Lower Body Injury

GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have placed center Martin Hanzal on the injured reserve list. Hanzal suffered an a lower body injury in last night’s game versus the Anaheim Ducks and will be out of the lineup 1-2 weeks.

The Coyotes have recalled center Andrew Ebbett from the San Antonio Rampage (AHL). In 5 games with the Rampage this season, Ebbett has recorded 4 assists, ranking him tied for second on the team in scoring.

Last season, the 5-foot-9, 174-pound native of Calgary, Alberta played in a career high 59 NHL games with the Minnesota Wild and Chicago Blackhawks collecting 9-6-15 and 8 penalty minutes.
