Coyotes Prospect Mark Visentin Named to Canada's National Jr. Team

GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- The Phoenix Coyotes’ 2010 first round draft selection Mark Visentin (27th overall) was named to Team Canada’s National Junior Team roster today by Hockey Canada.
The 6-foot-2, 198 pound, Visentin has posted a 13-4-2-2 record in 21 games with the Niagara Ice Dogs (Ontario Hockey League). He currently ranks second overall among goaltenders in the OHL with a 2.30 Goals Against Average and third overall with a .921 Save Percentage. Visentin recently stopped 42 of 43 shots in a Dec. 9 shootout loss to Mississauga leading up to Team Canada’s Evaluation Camp.
The 2011 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship will take place in Buffalo, New York from December 26 – January 5, 2011.
