Coyotes Prospect Chris Brown Selected to USA Hockey’s National Junior Team Roster

GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- USA Hockey today announced that Chris Brown, the Coyotes’ second round draft selection (36th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft has been selected to USA Hockey’s 22-player National Junior Team Roster.
The 6-foot-2, 195 pound Brown has played in 19 games with the Michigan Wolverines (Central Collegiate Hockey Association), registering 10 points (2-8-10). He has also collected 12 penalty minutes.
Last season, Brown was named to the CCHA All-Rookie Team after leading all Michigan rookies with 28 points (13-15-28). He led all Wolverines with seven power-play goals in 45 games.
The 2011 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship will take place in Buffalo, New York from December 26 – January 5, 2011.
