Coyotes Recall MacLean, Assign Yonkman to AHL

GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have assigned defenseman Nolan Yonkman to the San Antonio Rampage (AHL) and recalled right wing Brett MacLean.

The 6-foot-1, 200 pound MacLean has played 32 games with the Rampage this season collecting 14-17-31. MacLean leads the team in goals (14) and points (31) and ranks tied for second in assists with 17. MacLean is also tied for second on the Rampage with a plus-9 rating and tied for the team lead with 6 power play goals.

Last season, the 22-year-old native of London, Ontario played 76 games with San Antonio registering 30-35-65 and 43 penalty minutes.

The 6-foot-6, 247 pound Yonkman has played 12 games with the Coyotes this season, recording one assist and 24 penalty minutes. Prior to being recalled by the Coyotes, the 29-year-old native of Punnichy, Saskatchewan played 13 games with the Rampage, collecting 17 penalty minutes.
