Coyotes Assign MacLean to AHL

GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have assigned right wing Brett MacLean to the San Antonio Rampage, the Coyotes American Hockey Leage affiliate.
The 6-foot-1, 200 pound MacLean played in his first NHL game on Wednesday, December 29, scoring his first NHL goal in the Coyotes 6-3 win over Los Angeles. In 32 games with the Rampage this season, MacLean has registered 14-17-31. He leads the team in goals (14) and points (31) and ranks tied for second in assists with 17. MacLean is also tied for second on the Rampage with a plus-9 rating and tied for the team lead with 6 power play goals.
Last season, the 22-year-old native of London, Ontario played 76 games with San Antonio registering 30-35-65 and 43 penalty minutes.
