Bissonnette & Nash Battle Behind the Bar at RA Sushi To Raise Funds for Nicky’s Week

Proceeds Benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. –
Scottsdale-based RA Sushi Bar Restaurant will host its seventh annual Nicky’s Week fundraiser May 29 through June 4 to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, the nation’s top children’s cancer research center. During Nicky’s Week, 100 percent of the sales from a variety of menu items are donated to St. Jude. To help boost fundraising efforts, Phoenix Coyotes Left Wing Paul Bissonnette and broadcaster and former player, Tyson Nash, have volunteered to guest bartend at RA Sushi’s Kierland Commons location on Tuesday, May 31 from 6 to 7 p.m.

Nicky’s Week has raised more than $700,000 for the hospital since 2005, and RA’s goal is to increase that number by $125,000 this year. St. Jude treats children from around the world and is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatment not covered by insurance.

WHAT: RA Sushi’s Kierland Commons location will host Phoenix Coyotes Left Wing Paul Bissonnette and broadcaster and former player, Tyson Nash, as celebrity guest bartenders to help raise funds during Nicky’s Week. All proceeds from the sale of Edamame, Tootsy Maki, Shrimp Nigiri, Pork Gyoza, Tuna Tataki, Chicken Yakitori, FIJI, The Republic of Tea, and other select beverages will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. All 25 RA Sushi locations across the country participate in the fundraiser and RA’s goal is to donate $125,000 to St. Jude this year.
