FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Tuesday, September 13, 2011

GLENDALE, ARIZONA -- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today the roster and schedule for the upcoming 2011 Training Camp at Jobing.com Arena from Sept. 17-Oct. 4. Veterans will report for camp on Friday, Sept. 16 for physicals and fitness testing. Players will be available to the media at the conclusion of their fitness testing at Jobing.com Arena between 10 a.m. – noon.

In total, 59 players have been invited to attend the Coyotes’ training camp. The roster must be trimmed to 23 players by opening night. Unlike other professional sports, there is no mandatory schedule for making roster cuts. The Coyotes will also hold two practices in Prescott Valley on Oct. 3 & 4 at Tim’s Toyota Center, home of the Central Hockey League’s Arizona Sundogs.

Below is a complete roster and schedule for the 2011 Training Camp. Please note that the Coyotes’ practice schedule is subject to change. All practices are open to the public.

The training camp roster will be broken up into three squads (Team A, B & C) and their schedules will vary. Those media members seeking specific players should check with the Coyotes media relations department in advance, as it will likely change.

Phoenix will open its 2011-12 regular season on Saturday, Oct. 8 at HP Pavilion against the San Jose Sharks. The Coyotes will host their home opener on Saturday, Oct. 15 versus the Winnipeg Jets beginning at 4 p.m. at Jobing.com Arena.
