Coyotes Assign Miele to AHL

GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have assigned forward Andy Miele to the Portland Pirates, the Coyotes American Hockey League affiliate.

The 5-foot-8, 171 pound Miele appeared in five games with the Coyotes since his recall on Oct. 21. He made his NHL debut at Anaheim on Oct. 23. The Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan native has played in four games with the Pirates this season, recording 3-4-7.

Miele was signed as an undrafted college free agent on April 2, 2011.
