GLENDALE, ARIZONA -- Phoenix Coyotes Chief Operating Officer Mike Nealy announced today that the organization is hoping to recognize at least 17,125 local heroes from around the Valley by sending them to a Coyotes games this season. The Coyotes plan to honor individuals who serve others in the most heroic ways in conjunction with the Coyotes “Hard Way Heroes” program. This record-setting amount would be the equivalent of a sellout at Jobing.com Arena, and the first sellout of its kind.

“We are honored to do something special to recognize local individuals in our community that perform courageous acts and demonstrate noble qualities,” said Nealy. “By the end of the season, we hope to provide a record-setting 17,125 of our local heroes with an opportunity to attend a Coyotes game out of the generosity of fellow Coyotes fans and the Coyotes organization.”

The Coyotes are asking fans to contribute to this campaign by donating as little as one dollar to help send the heroes of Arizona to a game. The team will be tracking efforts towards the sellout as fans and groups alike are invited to join in this unique effort.
