Fans donated dolls, stuffed animals, video games, board games and more to help undo the wrong done by some real-life Grinches who stole approximately $20,000 worth of toys intended for children with special medical needs at St. Joe’s.
“Our fans are amazing and we knew they would respond quite generously once they heard about this terrible story,” said Sarah Finecey, the team’s Director of Community Relations. “They did not disappoint us or the kids.”
In addition to donating toys, Coyotes fans also chipped in $905.39 in cash to be used to buy more toys for the kids at St. Joe’s.
