GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Phoenix Coyotes Chief Operating Officer Mike Nealy announced today that the Coyotes will present Kids’ Day at Jobing.com Arena on January 16 when the Coyotes host the Colorado Avalanche on Martin Luther King Day. Game time is 2:00 p.m. With every purchase of a full priced ticket for this game, kids nine years of age and under will receive a free ticket to the game.

“With so many of our fans off from work on January 16 to celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King, we wanted to provide families with an affordable, entertaining way to enjoy the holiday. We hope many of our fans take advantage of this great opportunity to see the Coyotes play.”

As part of the Coyotes “Hard Way Heroes Program”, the Coyotes have also created a special ticket package for this game to honor all Valley of the Sun teachers. Teachers who present their identification at the Jobing.com Arena box office on game day can purchase a lower bowl ticket for $50 (regularly priced at $75) or an upper bowl ticket for $20 (regularly priced at $36).

The Coyotes launched their “Hard Way Heroes Program” last month and are asking fans to contribute to the campaign by donating as little as one dollar to help send the heroes of Arizona to a game this season. The Coyotes will be tracking efforts towards their goal of sending 17,125 fans to a game as fans and groups alike are invited to join in this unique effort.
