Yandle Ready for NHL All-Star Skills Competition

Coyotes defenseman Keith Yandle, and the other 2012 NHL All-Stars, will put their elite hockey skills on display tonight at the 2012 Molson Canadian All-Star Skills Competition at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa.

Yandle, who is a member of Team Alfredsson, is scheduled to take part in two events: Fastest Skater and the Skills Challenge Relay, during which he will be the team’s designated left-handed one-timer shooter.

“It will be fun to see how it goes,” Yandle said. “The whole day is fun and the whole event – the All-Star Game – is fun so I’m looking forward to it.”

The skills competition will begin at 5 p.m. (Arizona time) and will be broadcast on NBC Sports Network (formerly Versus).
