Coyotes Assign Bolduc, Rundblad to AHL

GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have assigned center Alexandre Bolduc and defenseman David Rundblad to the Portland Pirates, the Coyotes American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).

The 26-year-old native of Montreal, Quebec split the 2010-11 regular season between the Vancouver Canucks and the Manitoba Moose (AHL). Bolduc notched 2-2-4 in 24 games with the Canucks and 6-9-15 with the Moose. He has posted 2-3-5 in 46 career NHL games with Vancouver.
Bolduc was originally drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the fourth round (127th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Rundblad has played in 15 games with the Pirates this season registering 6-4-10. He also has appeared in two games with the Coyotes, collecting two assists. Rundblad posted 1-3-4 in 24 games with the Ottawa Senators before being acquired by the Coyotes on Dec. 17, 2011.

Rundblad was originally drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the first round (17th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
