Coyotes Assign Pouliot to AHL

GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have reassigned forward Marc-Antoine Pouliot to the Portland Pirates, the Coyotes American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).

The 6-foot-2, 203 pound Pouliot has collected four assists in 13 games with the Coyotes. He has appeared in 41 games with the Pirates this season, recording 7-20-27 and 57 penalty minutes (PIM).

The 26-year-old native of Quebec City, Quebec has registered 21-36-57 and 76 PIM in 192 career NHL games with the Coyotes, Tampa Bay Lightning & Edmonton Oilers.

Pouliot was originally drafted in the first round (22nd overall) by the Oilers in the 2003 Entry Draft.
