Coyotes Sign Conner to One-Year, Two-Way Contract

GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have signed right wing Chris Conner to a one-year, two-way contract. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The 5-foot-8, 180 pound Conner registered 16-37-53 and 22 penalty minutes (PIM) with Grand Rapids, the Detroit Red Wings American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate in 2011-12. He also skated in eight games with Detroit, recording 1-2-3.
The 28-year-old native of Westland, Michigan has recorded 17-26-43 in 147 career NHL games with Detroit, Pittsburgh and Dallas. In addition, Conner has also collected 88-139-227 and 96 PIM in 275 career AHL games.
In 151 career NCAA games with Michigan Tech (CCHA), Conner notched 69-60-129 and 44 PIM.
Conner signed as an undrafted free agent with the Dallas Stars on July 13, 2006.
