Coyotes Beat Sharks in Preseason Finale
GLENDALE – Oliver Ekman-Larsson scored the game-winning goal on a power play with 2:28 left in the third period to lead the Coyotes to a 2-1 win over the San Jose Sharks on Friday night at Jobing.com Arena in Phoenix’s preseason finale.

"It was a tight game," Vrbata said. "We need a game like that. It was good to win the last preseason game. We are in a good place."
Goalie Thomas Greiss made 25 saves against his former team.
"I think we looked really good and had a great game today and the last game was real solid, too," Greiss said. "We are headed in the right direction."

The Coyotes, who finished the preseason with a 4-2-1 record, begin the 2013-14 regular season on Thursday at home vs. the New York Rangers.
