GLENDALE – Canadian bands Bachman and Turner, Loverboy and Trooper rocked the house at CanadaFest on Saturday night at Jobing.com Arena.

The groups performed after the Coyotes at Capitals game in Washington, D.C., which was shown to fans inside the arena before the bands took the stage.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Coyotes Charities.
“This is a great event,” said Allison Lang, who attended with her boyfriend. “It’s hockey, it’s rock ‘n roll. It’s really a no-brainer for us on a Saturday night.”
Jerry Cohen agreed.
“This is nice,” he said, while watching the hockey game. “I’ve been looking forward to seeing Loverboy and Bachman and Turner, plus I’m a rabid Coyotes fan so this works out perfect for me. The people here are fans and they’re very involved in the game. It’s cool.”
Jeff Anderson drove 125 miles from Oro Valley for the event.
“This is great idea because it’s getting more people involved in Coyotes hockey,” Anderson said. “Hockey is not very popular down in our area so coming up here is the thing to do.”
