Coyotes Recognize 10 Millionth Fan at Saturday's Game
GLENDALE – Tom Lenzmeier was recognized as the Coyotes’ 10 millionth fan at Saturday’s game against the Calgary Flames at Jobing.com Arena.
Lenzmeier received a prize package including a Wyndham resort trip to Napa, Calif., a pair of season tickets for the 2014-15 NHL season; a suite for a Coyotes game this season; two (2) glass seats for Fan Appreciation Night on Sunday, April 13 versus the Dallas Stars; a custom Coyotes 10 Millionth Fan jersey and Coyotes merchandise.
Since 2003 when the Coyotes moved to Glendale, more than five million fans have attended Coyotes games at Jobing.com Arena. The Coyotes played their first game at Jobing.com Arena on Dec. 27, 2003 against the Nashville Predators and since then have played 386 regular season games, 24 preseason games and 15 playoff games at Jobing.com Arena. The capacity for hockey games at Jobing.com Arena is 17,125.
From 1996 to 2003, the Coyotes played their homes games at America West Arena (now US Airways Center) in Phoenix. The Coyotes played 587 regular season games at this venue before moving to Glendale.
