Patrick Lauder
National Anthem Singer

Patrick Lauder was selected as “The Official National Anthem Singer of the Phoenix Coyotes" prior to the 2005-06 season, establishing the franchise’s entry into the long-standing NHL tradition of teams using the services of one anthem performer for most of their home games. Patrick has sung “The Star Spangled Banner” and “O Canada” prior to hundreds of Coyotes games since 1996, where he performed for the team’s very first pre-season and regular-season home games during their inaugural season here in the Valley.

As a senior at Fort Vancouver High School in Vancouver, Washington, Patrick was selected to the All-League and All-State Football teams, and won First Place in the Tenor Vocal division at the State Solo and Ensemble music competition. He received his Bachelors degree in Administration / Management from Central Washington University, where he also minored in Music Performance and played football his freshman and sophomore years.

“I’m basically just a sports nut who likes to sing.” says Patrick. “That’s why I’m so grateful to the Phoenix Coyotes for giving me the opportunity to honor two great nations in song by performing the American and Canadian anthems for them all these years.” then added with a smile, “I get to sing in front of some great fans, honor my country AND watch hockey! Seriously, how cool of a hobby is THAT for a sports nut who likes to sing?”

Since relocating from Washington to Arizona in 1995, Patrick has also performed for various collegiate and other professional sports teams across the valley, as well as for many corporate and charitable events.

In addition to his anthem singing, Patrick enjoys performing music of many styles, including Rock, R&B, Pop and Country, and in 2004 was selected via Internet voting as one of the six "viewers choice" finalists for NewsChannel 3's TV singing competition "Gimme The Mike!".

Patrick currently resides in Peoria with his wife Christy and their four children, Tyler, Wyatt, Aspen and Addisyn.
