GLENDALE -- The Coyotes will attempt to win their third consecutive game tonight when they host the St. Louis Blues at Jobing.com Arena. The puck drops at 6 p.m. (Arizona time).

Phoenix (6-5-5) beat Calgary, 5-4, on Friday night to post its second win in a row - a first for this season.

"This was a big character win for us," Coyotes forward Scottie Upshall said. "We've had trouble putting wins together, so this was huge for us."

Ilya Bryzgalov, who made 31 saves in Friday's game, again is expected to be in goal for the Coyotes as they play their fourth game in six days.

Coyotes winger Wojtek Wolski, twice a healthy scratch not too long ago, has notched one goal and three assists in his last four games and has moved into a four-way tie for the team's scoring lead with nine points.

St. Louis (9-2-3), which ranks fourth in the Western Conference with 21 points, has lost two games in a row. Talented young forwards David Perron and TJ Oshie are among several Blues players out because of injury. Perron has missed the past four games because of a concussion. Oshie broke an ankle earlier this week.

"With a few injuries, we've still been able to maintain a high level of play," Blues forward David Backes told reporters. "We plan on doing that, not for just the rest of this year and into the playoffs, but for years to come."

Blues goalie Jaroslav Halak has given up six goals in the past two games. Halak, who is 8-2-2 with a 1.79 goals-against average, has never tended goal vs. the Coyotes.
