Coyotes-Ducks Preview

The Coyotes will play the second of back-to-back games this weekend tonight against the Anaheim Ducks at the Honda Center. The puck drops at 6 p.m. (Arizona time).

Phoenix (12-7-6), which lost to Florida, 2-1, in a shootout on Saturday night in Glendale, enters the game with 30 points, one more than Anaheim (13-12-3).
Coyotes winger
Scottie Upshall, who has scored five of his eight goals in the last 10 games, has four goals and three assists during a six-game point streak against the Ducks. Meanwhile, Coyotes captain
Shane Doan has notched five of his seven assists this season versus Anaheim.
Ilya Bryzgalov will start in goal for Phoenix. Bryzgalov, who stopped 36 of 37 shots in Saturday's shootout defeat, has lost three games in a row since winning six straight.
Anaheim goalie Jonas Hiller likely will make his eighth consecutive start. He is 6-0-1 with a 1.95 goals-against average in seven career home starts versus Phoenix.
The Coyotes will be looking to avenge a 6-4 loss to Anaheim on Nov. 27 that snapped a seven-game winning streak. Anaheim also beat Phoenix, 3-2, on Oct. 17.
The Ducks last played on Friday night and lost 4-0 on home ice to Detroit.
