Coyotes: Phoenix bounced back from a 6-3 loss to the St. Louis Blues by earning a 2-1 win against the Dallas Stars at Jobing.com Arena on Saturday. Tuesday marks the end of a three-game homestand for the Coyotes, as they’ll begin a four-game road trip Thursday at St. Louis.
Rob Klinkhammer’s first goal in the National Hockey League proved to be the game-winner against the Stars.Kings: Los Angeles hits the road for a pair of games after concluding a five-game homestand Monday with a 3-1 victory against the Calgary Flames at Staples Center. Dustin Brown scored twice for the Kings, while Jonathan Quick held the Flames off the scoreboard until the 14:38 mark of the third period.
“It wasn’t clean,” Jarret Stoll said of Monday’s win. “It’s wasn’t pretty. It was hack-and-whack out there a lot of times. Pucks were all over the place, and sometimes it seems like there were more than one or two pucks out there. We found a way to win.”
