COYOTES 2007 DRAFT RECAP

 The Coyotes drafted Kyle Turris (3rd overall) and Nick Ross (30th overall) in the first round on Friday, and on Saturday selected left wing Brett MacLean (32nd overall), goaltender Joel Gistedt (36th overall), center Vladimir Ruzicka (103rd overall), defenseman Maxim Goncharov (123rd overall) and goaltender Scott Darling (153rd overall) to conclude the 2007 NHL Entry Draft at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
"We are excited to add great young players with exceptional talent to our organization," said Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney. "We completed a very productive draft and selected players with great skill. We expect all of them to have a bright future with our organization on and off the ice."
